| in 2011, our new "heritage" blocks came to fruition on the ranch. this carefully selected site is planted to clones that were hand selected by our viticulturist and guru phil coturri. the wine from this vintage shows the genius of those decisions. lovely ripe poached bosc pear and brioche burst from the glass. honeysuckle and ginger quality intertwine with the tones of apple, asian pear and pie crust, just enough to give it weight and interest without sacrificing the crisp clean impression of the acids. bright on entry, leading to a lush and full finish with a hint of toasted oak. total production of 50 cases |
