luscious and intoxicating, the rich blue fruit so coveted in cabernet franc is generous to us on our red volcanic ridges. the intensity of the blueberry and cassis is almost overwhelming. below the surface are layers of lovely licorice, cinnamon stick, cola and pencil shavings. the mouth is very full with acid that shines through making it brighter than one would think from it's aroma. balanced, driven by dark fruit and supported by robust tannins. total production 240 six-pack cases
